Our picks
Best value overall: ₹799 (1.5 GB/day, 84 days)
At about ₹9.51 a day it is one of the cheapest ways to stay on a daily-data Jio plan, and you only recharge four times a year. It does not include unlimited 5G, so pick it if 1.5 GB a day on 4G covers your use.
Best for 5G users: ₹859 (2 GB/day, 84 days)
Jio’s unlimited 5G comes with its 2 GB/day and higher plans. If you have a 5G phone and live in a 5G area, the ₹859 plan gives you 5G data without counting against the daily limit, for about ₹10.23 a day.
Best if you pay once a year: ₹3,599 (2.5 GB/day, 365 days)
Under ₹10 a day with unlimited 5G and no reminders for a year. It only makes sense if you are sure you will keep the same Jio number for twelve months.
Best short plan: ₹299 (1.5 GB/day, 28 days)
Good if you cannot spend more at once. You pay a little more per day than the 84-day plan.
Things to check before you recharge
- Unlimited 5G works only on a 5G phone in a 5G area.
- OTT benefits such as JioHotstar are usually the mobile version and may need activation in the app.
- A 28-day plan means 13 recharges a year, not 12.
