Which recharge plans include unlimited 5G?
Jio and Airtel both offer unlimited 5G data, but only on certain plans. On those plans, 5G data does not count against your daily limit. Here is where it starts on each operator.
Cheapest plans with unlimited 5G
| Operator | Cheapest 28–30 day plan | Cheapest 84-day plan | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jio | ₹349 (2 GB/day, 28 days) | ₹859 (2 GB/day) | ₹3,599 (2.5 GB/day) |
| Airtel | ₹379 (2 GB/day, 30 days) | ₹979 (2 GB/day) | ₹3,599 (2 GB/day) |
| Vi | ₹365 (2 GB/day, 28 days)* | ₹979 (2 GB/day)* | ₹3,599 (2 GB/day)* |
*Vi 5G is available only in selected cities.
What you need for unlimited 5G
- A 5G phone with 5G turned on in network settings.
- 5G coverage at your location. Check the coverage map in your operator’s app.
- An eligible plan. On Jio and Airtel that generally means plans with 2 GB a day or more.
Is it worth paying more for?
If you have 5G coverage at home or work, yes. The 2 GB plan with unlimited 5G often costs only ₹1 to ₹2 a day more than a 1.5 GB plan without it, and you may never hit your daily limit again. If there is no 5G where you spend your day, choose by daily data instead.
Prices are taken from public plan listings in October 2026. Operators change plans often, so always check the final price on the official app or website before you pay.
